Pershing Rifles Cadet Maj. Rebecca Ruehl leads a rifle drill squad from the University of Toledo (Ohio) during the 2015 John J. Pershing Memorial Drill Competition on March 14 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. While competing in the drill event, teams must demonstrate precision, dexterity and synchronized marching moves. The Toledo-based cadets took home the overall championship trophy for the second year in a row. As winners of the event, they get to wear the Varsity Rifles medallion on their uniform for the next year.
