Pfc. German Morales, with the 515th Transportation Company, looks at a map of Warsaw during a cultural excursion at the Warsaw Uprising Museum in Poland. The 515th is providing logistics support for the 2nd Cavalry Regiment on their 1,000-plus mile trip, the longest such movement conducted since World War II. The 2CR had been training with the Estonian army for three months as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the Baltic Region. Enhanced land force multinational training and security cooperation activities take place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania to ensure multinational interoperability and strengthen relationships among allied militaries.
