Crewmembers aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Legare enjoy a movie on the flight deck during some much needed downtime as part of the Fourth of July celebration Saturday, July 4, 2009. The Legare, home ported in Portsmouth, Va., is currently en route to countries off the west and central coast of Africa in support of the African Partnership Station, under the direction of Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, 6th Fleet. The nations of West and Central Africa, America, Europe and international/nongovernment organizations share a common goal of regional prosperity, stability and peace under the African Partnership Station.
