Spc. Jonathan S. Kulp, an Arvada, Col. native, and Spc. Shelby C. Lytle, from Ennis, Texas, add wire mitigation kits to their Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle, to "Keep gunners from getting injured by low-hanging wires," said Kulp. The wire mitigation kit was implemented after a number of injuries and deaths caused by low hanging obstacles.
