Petty Officer 2nd Class Norland Obillo, aviation machinist's mate, and Petty Officer 3rd Class David Carbajal, aviation machinist's mate, both assigned to the Black Aces of Strike Fighter Squadron 41, reconnect a GE-414 engine to one of the squadron's 12 F/A-18F Super Hornets. The Sailors are two of more than two hundred Sailors in the squadron preparing VFA-41 aircraft for a six-month deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
