WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (December 1, 2014) - The Military Sealift Command joint high-speed vessel USNS Choctaw County (JHSV 2) prepares to moor pier side Cheatham Annex as Sailors from Yorktown Naval Weapons Station port operations department stand ready do receive lines. Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group's (NAVELSG) only active duty Navy Cargo Handling Battalion ONE (NCHB 1) and Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NEMSCOM) are working together on a proof of concept to conduct a loading exercise (LOADEX) to deploy and set up a humanitarian assistance disaster relief (HADR) MED PACKUP KIT onboard JHSV.
