Pfc. David Riley, Motar Platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, engages the enemy while assuming the role of the oppostional force (OPFOR) while teamate Sgt. Derek Jacobson moves to a new position. The motar platoon's mission was to act as insurgents in a battlefield training exercise during Saber Junction 15. Saber Junction 15 is a U.S. Army Europe-led training exercise which demonstrates a simultaneous combination of offensive, defensive and stability operations designed to strengthen international military partnerships, enhance multinational interoperability and prepare participants for worldwide contingency operations.
