Sgt. Garrett E. Poole, non-commissioned officer-in-charge of the Forward Operating Base Husayniya aid station, instructs Soldiers on proper head tilt to open airways for a patient. Training is also important for U.S. Soldiers and the brigade places emphasis on the Black Hawk First Responders certification, which trains Soldiers on more skills than a certified combat lifesaver class. The medical staff provides classes for the brigade Soldiers stationed here.
