Marines with 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, I Marine Expeditionary Force began their tour with the tour guide explaining the feature and history of the F-4 Phantom II aboard the USS Midway Museum, San Diego, May 6, 2015. The USS Midway served for 47 years, having seen action in the Vietnam War and been the Persian Gulf flagship in 1991's Operation Desert Storm. Decommissioned in 1992, it is now a museum ship.
