Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1, Detachment Guam, are awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award by Guam's Lt. Gov. Ray Tenorio during a ceremony held at the Ricardo J. Bordallo Governor's Complex, May 7. CRG-1 Deachment Guam completed 2,460 hours of volunteer service over the past year, placing them in the gold level of the award and the only military command to win this year. The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes U.S. citizens and lawfully admitted, permanent residents of the U.S. who have achieved the required number of hours over a 12-month time period.
