A UH-1Y Huey takes off for a search and rescue mission from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal May 13. Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 sent two Huey’s out to search for a missing Huey carrying six Marines and two Nepalese soldiers. The helicopter went missing while conducting casualty evacuations after a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal May 12. The squadron is currently part of Joint Task Force 505.
