Soldiers prepare for the Manchu Mile May 20 at Liscum Field, Camp Casey, South Korea. The Manchu Mile was organized to commemorate the 85-mile march the 9th Infantry Regiment Soldiers conducted in China during the Boxer Rebellion. This was the last Manchu Mile held on the Korean Peninsula before the 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry (Mechanized), 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, inactivation.
