Gary Roughead, chief of Naval Operations, speaks to the crew of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington in the ship's hangar bay about the importance of their role as part of the U.S. Navy forward deployed force. Roughead is in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility attending the Indonesian International Fleet Review, which commemorates the 64th anniversary of Indonesian independence.
