    Capt. Charles Stuppard gives Dolia Gonzalez a kiss and a hug after the USS Gonzalez' changes of command ceremony. Gonzalez, mother of the ship's namesake, Marine Corps Sgt. Alfredo 'Freddy' Gonzalez, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery in the Vietnam War, will be traveled from her home in Edinburg, Texas to attend the ceremony, which coincides with her 80th birthday.
