POHNPEI, Federated States of Micronesia (June 18, 2015) Members of the Pacific Partnership advance team bow their heads for the invocation at the U.S. Embassy during the Future Soldiers of Enlistment Ceremony. Twenty-four men and women from Pohnpei State enlisted in the U.S. Army through the U.S. Army Recruiting Detachment Guam. Pacific Partnership is in its 10th iteration and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership missions to date have provided real world medical care to approximately 270,00 patients and veterinary services to more than 38,000 animals.
