Aeromedical Evacuation technician Staff Sgt. Ryan Balubar prepares a C-130 to transport medical patients, Aug. 15, in Southwest Asia. The 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron provides a regular "mercy mission" which transports patients from throughout Southwest Asia to established medical care facilities. Sgt. Balubar is deployed from Kadena Air Base, Japan, in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
