Romanian oina players take turns batting at a three-day International Festival of Traditional Sports Related to Oina in Techirghiol, a seaside community south of Constanta, Romania, Sept. 5. Players from Romania, Germany, Moldova and the United States played each other in oina, schlagball and softball. U.S. troops from Joint Task Force-East participated in order to continue to build international relationships. At the end of the three-day festival teammates gathered together for a night of traditional Romanian food and dance at a culminating ceremony in nearby Constanta, Aug. 6.
