Soldiers of the 251st Engineer Company (Sappers) rehearse clearing a building for a Multi-Echelon Integrated Brigade Training exercise at Fort Drum, N.Y., June 21-23, 2015. For the MIBT, Sappers were attached to infantry to provide them with mobility and countermobility assets, which they don't normally have, including demolishing wire obstacles and preparing explosive breaches. The MIBT was created and evaluated by observer controller/trainers, who provide feedback to the brigade about their successes and failures during the exercise, and suggest areas in which they can improve.
