Pfc. D'mitri Hubbard, Alpha Company, 16th Ordnance Battalion, works on an engine in one of the bays at Stever Hall June 25. Hubbard, a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Course student, is in the sixth week of the 12-week course. The course is also taught at the Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic School at Fort Jackson, S.C., which will close its doors later this year and consolidate its operations here. Fort Lee is expected to gain roughly 1,900 students annually as a result of the closing.
