A United States Army UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter operated by B Company, 43rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, begins it’s ascent to around 1200 feet so a multinational force made up of U.S. Soldiers assigned to Dog Company, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), and Lithuanian Land Forces Soldiers assigned to Algirdo Battalion can train together as paratroopers and earn the coveted Foreign Jump Wings during exercises held at the Great Lithuanian Hetman Jonusas Radvila Training Regiment, in Rukla, Lithuania, July 7, 2015. The Soldiers of Dog Company currently fall under the 4th Infantry Division Mission Command Element while in Lithuania. The Soldiers of 4th Infantry Division Mission Command Element (MCE) are part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing multinational partnership focused on joint training and security cooperation between the U.S. and other NATO allies. The 4th Infantry Division Mission Command Element temporarily moved its headquarters from Germany to Lithuania on July 1, 2015, to exercise its expeditionary capability and to demonstrate the U.S. unwavering commitment to our allies.
