    ARABIAN SEA (June 6, 2015) - Machinery Repairman 2nd Class Joshua Jarrel, from Canton, Ga., participates in a fresh-water washdown aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81). Sailors conduct fresh-water washdowns as a means of corrosion control. USS Winston S. Churchill is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
