ARABIAN GULF, at sea - The U.S. Navy High-Speed Vessel Swift (HSV-2), seen here in a photo dated Jan. 12, 2006, recently demonstrated it's one-of-kind ability for rapid response by delivering a replacement rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) to the North Arabian Gulf (NAG) in less than 24 hours. Swift, deployed to U.S. Fifth Fleet, was operating off the coast of Bahrain, when it received the call to deliver the RHIB to USS Lake Champlain (CG-57) after a storm in the NAG damaged the ship's RHIB.
