Sailors assigned to the Outside Electrical Shop of Southeast Regional Maintenance Center remove the rotor from the inside of a fire pump motor taken from USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) in preparation for its complete overhaul. SERMC technicians perform these and many other maintenance actions routinely in supporting the Mayport fleet while earning a Navy Enlisted Classification.
