Sgt. Kevin Vantatenhove, left, a cyber network operator with Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group and Cpl. Melissa Apodaca, a wrestler for the All-Marine Wresting Team with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, and both students with Marine Corps Martial Arts Program Martial Arts Instructor Course 205-15, work to climb over an obstacle during training June 27, 2015, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. The obstacle course was one of many events included in the students’ final challenge before earning the certification that will allow them to train Marines back at their parent commands in becoming more skilled martial artists. The final challenge was more than six hours long and tested the Marines’ physical, mental and moral toughness throughout the day.
