From July 20 - Aug. 4, 2015, 20 Army Reserve firefighters (12M Military Occupational Specialty) of the 467th Engineer Detachment Firefighting, 593rd and the 614th Engineer Battalions and 12 new Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL) firefighters participated in firefighting training conducted by FHL Fire Department during the 2015 Warrior Exercise (WAREX). On Aug. 4, 2015, two Army Reserve firefighters of the 467th Engineer Detachment Firefighting based in Des Moines, Iowa, pulled a fire victim to safety as part of the a rescue operation scenario at Fort Hunter Liggett during the Warrior Exercise (WAREX).
