SAN DIEGO (Aug. 21, 2015) Chief Fire Control Technician Ramon Escalante, winner of the “first hug” lottery, greets his son following the return of the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Albuquerque (SSN 706) to Naval Base Point Loma after completing its final deployment. Commissioned in 1983, Albuquerque is scheduled to transit to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, in Bremerton, Wash., later this year for its inactivation and decommissioning. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt.
