Maj. Richard Koyama (at podium), deputy chaplain, 4th Infantry Division, prays at the beginning of a memorial service May 24 honoring Lt. Col. Daniel Holland, 414th Civil Affairs Battalion, 352nd Civil Affairs Command, Multi-National Division-Baghdad. Holland, a doctor of veterinary medicine, along with three Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, and a civilian interpreter, died May 18 when an improvised-explosive device detonated near their humvee in Baghdad. Standing in the front row of the audience are 4th Infantry Division and Multi-National Division -- Baghdad commander, Maj. Gen. J. D. Thurman, Command Sergeant Major Ronald Riling and Brig. Gen. David Halverson, Assistant Division Commander (Support). Behind Koyama are speakers who eulogized Holland.
