Engineman 2nd Class Stephen Weber, assigned to Landing Craft Utility 1655 directs the embarkation equipment from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit for transportation to the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4). The ship, LCU crew and Marines are participating in COMPTUEX, an exercise designed to provide realistic training environments for U.S. naval forces that closely replicate the operational challenges routinely encountered during military operations worldwide.
