Soldiers and civilians from the Fourth Infantry Division and Fort Carson gathered Oct. 19 at the Elkhorn Conference Center for an observance of the National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The event was sponsored by the Mountain Post Equal Opportunity Team to urge leaders to allow their Soldiers to remain on active duty after they have suffered mental or physical trauma, if the Soldiers are willing and capable of doing so.
