One last touch to say goodbye was a common sight as Marines held identification tags in final moments with Sgt. Alessandro Carbonaro, Cpl. Cory L. Palmer and Cpl. William B. Fulks from 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion. The three were honored in a memorial service May 27 at Camp Fallujah's Chapel of Hope. They died as a result of wounds sustained in combat May 1.
