Capt. John Denny, Support Chaplain for South Carolina National Guard, and Chief Warrant Officer Four Kent Puffenbarger, South Carolina National Guard Command Chief Warrant Officer, discuss damage assessment of the rains and floods Oct. 7 in the hallways of the S.C. National Guard Readiness Center. Chaplain Denny and 10 other chaplains have spent the last few days traveling to various locations across the state meeting with Guardsmen and S.C. citizens provided care, comfort and ministry when and where needed. The chaplains have visited fueling point, distribution points and many other locations where Soldiers are on the ground helping S.C. and its citizens recover from the worst rain and floods in recorded history.
