Recruits of Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, listen to instructions during their first uniform fitting at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 14. The workers explained to the recruits exactly how the uniform pieces should be labeled for tailoring. Today, all males recruited west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 13.
