A recruit of Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, puts a Blue Dress uniform coat on during his first uniform fitting at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 14. This is the first time the recruits got a chance to try on the uniforms, and they will be returning for a final fitting a couple of weeks before graduation. Today, all males recruited west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 13.
