BAY OF BENGAL (Oct. 18, 2015) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Ricky Jones, assigned to the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), guides in an Aerospatiale SA 330 Puma helicopter for a vertical replenishment from USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE-6) as part of Exercise Malabar. Currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific Rebalance, Fort Worth is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region's littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.
