151018-N-ZY039-069 U.S. 7TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Oct. 18, 2015) –Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class James Nunn, from Ellerbe, N.C., hooks up a sliding pad eye with a pelican hook aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) during a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command's dry cargo ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6) during the joint exercise Malabar. Malabar is a continuing series of complex, high-end warfighting exercises conducted to advance multi-national maritime relationships and mutual security.
