Tech Sgt. Timothy Carlson, 435th Construction and Training Squadron NCO in charge of structures, mixes cement for locker room renovations Oct. 18, 2015, at Liceul Teoretic Alexei Mateevici School, Sanatauca, Moldova. Approximately seven Airmen from the 435th CTS and the 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron have been working on the renovations since Sept. 23. The Moldova Humanitarian and Civic Assistance program is part of a military and civilian theater security cooperation program the U.S. European Command uses to directly impact civilian communities throughout 17 countries, primarily in Eastern Europe. As well as allowing service members the opportunity to further their skillsets on the construction site, HCA projects also promote increased bonds and trust for future operations and improvement between the U.S. and partnered nations.
