A Multinational Battle Group East Soldier pulls security during a simulated patrol, part of a basic leader course exercise held Oct. 22, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The BLC is a required course for promotion in the Army’s NCO ranks, and was held for MNBG-E Soldiers serving in Kosovo by U.S. Army Europe instructors based out of Germany. The 30th ABCT is a North Carolina National Guard unit based out of Clinton, N.C., and is currently serving as the MNBG-E headquarters, part of NATO’s peace support mission in Kosovo.
