Loaded flatbeds of the 40th Transportation Company from Fort Lewis, Wash., and gun trucks from the Mississippi Army National Guard's A Co., 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, out of Hernando, Miss., await a convoy mission in the COL Q-West Convoy Support Center yard, ready to take their loads to COB Speicher, Nov. 9. The Mississippians serve as Q-West's force protection company, and this marked their first convoy security mission.
