U.S. Army Sgt. Avram Mechanic, Broadcasting Non Commissioned Officer for Multinational Force and Observers, celebrates his wedding with his wife Aviva Mechanic on Dec. 3, at the Neve Ilan hotel in Jerusalem. A traditional Jewish wedding was held for the couple as well as a mitzvah for guests to bring simcha (joy) to the chatan (groom) and the kallah (bride) on their wedding day. There was music and dancing as the guests celebrated with the new couple.
