Petty Officer 1st Class Ronnie Magbitang, hospital corpsman, sews on a third class petty officer crow for Petty Officer 3rd Class Tabitha King, electrician's mate, aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown. The Chief Petty Officer and First Class Petty Officer Associations aboard Germantown adopted the "tacking" on the crow tradition and sewed on a patch for each newly selected first, second, and third class petty officer aboard the ship.
