NSA Bahrain Opens New NEX/MWR Complex

MANAMA, Bahrain - Naval Support Activity Bahrain's new Installation Services Support Center (ISSC) officially opened for business, June 15. The "Freedom Souq" is an 188,000-square-foot complex that houses the base's Navy Exchange, Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) facilities, Navy Federal Credit Union, and post office. The ISSC consolidates businesses and services that until recently were scattered throughout the installation, taking up space in more than 20 separate building.
