Capt. Andrew E. Terrell, the commanding officer of Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, led the initial push into Now Zad, Afghanistan, during Operation Cobra's Anger in early December. Two weeks following the initial breach of Now Zad, Terrell is now at the forefront of the reconstruction and rejuvenation of Now Zad, as residents are returning to their homes and children are returning to school. Terrell, 29, is from Tampa, Fla.
