151228-N-YG415-012 IWO JIMA, Japan (Dec. 28, 2015) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, hike towards Mt. Suribachi during tour of the volcanic island of Iwo Jima. The Seabees tour the major interest points of Iwo Jima to familiarize themselves with the historical and current significance of the island to Japan and the U.S. NMCB 3 is deployed to several countries in the Pacific area of Operations conducting construction operations and humanitarian assistance projects.
