William Taylor, 92nd Maintenance Group communication and navigation systems instructor, shows a regional airline the ins and outs of the deicing simulator Dec. 16, 2015, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. The deicing simulator has saved the Air Force millions of dollars in deicing fluid, potential aircraft damages and deicing equipment repairs.
