Marines from 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion work into the night to finish construction on two observation posts in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Dec. 18. The posts were placed in areas where many IEDS have been encountered, and were made to be permanently-manned stations in order to maintain constant surveillance of the road.
