Staff Sgt. Jason R. Moore, drop zone commander, logistics operation section, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, and Pfc. Kurt M. Cahill, logistics embarkation chief, remove the parachute from a cargo pallet after an aerial resupply drop near Forward Operating Base Geronimo Dec. 27. Resupply drops like these are conducted about four times a week to resupply Marines of 1/3 with food, water and building materials. Moore, 30, is from Redding, Calif., and Cahill, 19, is from Bradford, Maine.
