An Australian Army trainer leads Iraqi Army soldiers to the beginning of the bayonet course during bayonet fighting lessons at the Taji Military Complex, Iraq. The Australian and New Zealand Defence forces are part of Task Force Taji, training ISF in support of the building partner capacity mission. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi Security Force personnel to defeat the Daesh (an Arabic acronym for ISIL.)
