160119-N-BJ294-069 ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 19, 2016) A Coast Guardsman assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 55 conducts a visit, board, search and seizure demonstration aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59) during an Iraqi bilateral exercise with the Iraqi Navy. CTF 55 controls surface forces such as U.S. Navy patrol craft and U.S. Coast Guard patrol boats throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
