Lance Cpl Matthew P. Robbins, C Company, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, recalls when he was hit by an improvised explosive device to General Michael W. Hagee, commandant of the Marine Corps. Robbins was one of five enlisted Marines personally awarded by Hagee at a recent ceremony held at Camp Baharia. The five Marines were wounded in action while fighting the War on Terrorism in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq.
