Mercy Arimaitwe, a civilian security contractor from Mbarara, Uganda, mans a .50 cal. machine gun during entry control point operations at Contingency Operating Location Q-West, Jan. 10. Arimaitwe is supervised by members of A Company, 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, 155th Brigade Combat Team, a mechanized infantry unit out of Hernando, Miss., that provides force protection to Q-West. This day marked the unit's sixth month of ECP operations. There have been no security breaches during their tenure.
